The 5 Babysitter Commandments

Having a babysitter take care of your kids is sometimes a dangerous thing to do because the babysitter is the person that will be alone with your kid. Here are some ideas about your relationship with the babysitter.

1. The babysitter should be encouraged by keeping the favorite foods on hand. That's because when you find a good babysitter, you should keep them happy, that's what most experienced parents say. Writing a thank you card once or twice a year would be a good idea too.

2. If you can't handle daily errands and taking care of your kids you can hire a "mother's helper" to come play with your kids. Since you'll be in the house you can hire a less expensive babysitter that has less experience.

3. Any sign that the child has been molested should be taken very seriously, terror of the babysitter or the demonstration of sexual behaivour while playing might be such a sign. Young adolescents might not understand the intensity of their sexual impulses as much as an adult does, that leading to the adolescent being tempt to explore with your child. Even so, child molestors come in every age, size or gender.

4. If using the same babysitter regularly learning to express your desires in a concrete form would be a good idea. Otherwise, you might do just like other parents, and develop a resentment towards the babysitter and forget the fact that a simple request might be all it's needed.

5. If you forget to remind your babysitter that the safety of your child is the main concern while he's in their care, the babysitter may get scattered among the responsibilities and forget the safety issues.

That being said, hope you won't have any problems with the babysitter that takes care of your kids. Good luck!

Four Tips on Buying a Discount Luxury Watch

With a down economy comes opportunity, and the time has never been better to purchase a discount luxury wristwatch. Simply put, it is a buyer's market out there, as sellers and re-sellers are willing to do more in order to move their expensive inventory off of store shelves. But before you jump into the discount watch market with both feet, it is important to understand a few things first.

TIPS FOR BUYING A DISCOUNT WATCH

Tip #1: Be brand conscious

More than almost any other accessory or type of apparel, when it comes to buying a luxury watch, the brand is king. Top watchmakers such as Ebel Beluga, Philip Stein and Bulova are world-renowned for a reason - they make beautiful, quality timepieces that rise above the competition. You can buy a knock off that looks just like these brands, but you are doing so at your own risk.

Tip #2: Work with someone you can trust

Unfortunately, there are some less-than-reputable merchants out there who sell goods that are not quite what they seem. Counterfeit watches and non-functioning time pieces are a fact of life in the online watch world, but there are ways to protect yourself. Work with merchants who were recommended by friends, have solid customer feedback posted on the web, and most importantly, provide customer support through a LIVE PERSON who is available over the phone.

Tip #3: Beware of counterfeits

There are two types of counterfeit watches that every consumer or watch collector should know about. First, there is the 'cheap knock off', a watch that make look like a Rolex from a distance, but when you get close enough to inspect it is really just a cobbled-together mess. These counterfeits are sold on the cheap ' so the buyer needs to use their logic skills and remember that any deal that 'seems too good to be true' probably is.

The second type of counterfeit watch is much more insidious. These watches are built by professional counterfeiters who understand the intricacies of fine watchmaking and will do just enough to convince the unwitting customer that what they are buying is the genuine article. Be on the lookout for fake serial numbers, and watch for the absence of holograms or other key markings that can only be produced by the manufacturer of the watch. We may never be able to stomp out counterfeiting in its entirety, but knowledge is power and will help lessen the chance of a rip-off.

Tip #4: Get online to find great deals

Now that you know the things you need to be careful about, it is time to hop online and find some of the best deals in the world on luxury watches. Businesses that once shied away from the web, preferring to do business in their brick-and-mortar stores, have now moved their inventory onto their websites so that watch lovers from around the world can shop for great deals.

For the finest discount luxury watches on the web, visit www.bacario.com. From the Breitling Chrono-Matic to the Seiko Coutura and everything in between www.bacario.com is home to an incredible selection of top name watches at amazing prices. And just ask our customers ' Bacario is a name you can trust.

Teaching Sign Language to Your Baby

Many people are turning to sign language as a teaching tool for their babies. Teaching sign language is not just a trendy thing to do, but it has become some of the earliest education many children are receiving as parents are taking the lead in educating children from their earliest days.

Teaching sign language to your baby may seem like a difficult task (especially if you don't know sign language yourself!), but it is easier than you may think. In fact, we teach babies sign language without even thinking about it! When we show them to wave, we're teaching them "bye-bye." When we point at objects, we're teaching them to try to tell us what they want by pointing as well.

A baby's mind is like a little sponge - it takes in everything. Learning comes so very easy to them. You will be amazed at just how quickly you and your baby can communicate using signs. It's never too late to start this process, and the whole task can be fun for the entire family!

It's nice to be able to know what it is that your baby needs and to be able to provide it for them quickly. And we all want to be able to communicate with babies as soon as we can beyond the babbling and cooing stages. Start out by using signs that will help you learn what your baby wants, whether it's food or milk or to be changed or some other sign that would be an indicator of his or her needs.

You should start off by using just a sign or two until you all begin to get the hang of it. Use the sign for food at mealtime or when you are feeding the baby. Show them an object and the corresponding sign so that they will begin to make the connection. Consistency is the key in this process. If they see the sign everytime the word is used, they will quickly learn the connection and sign. Just don't forget to say the word as well! Saying the words along with the signs is important, as if encourages speech development. While some people believe that babies will not learn to speak if taught sign language, this is simply not true. When done along with spoken word association, sign language can advance your child's verbal abilities.

There really are so many great benefits to babies who use sign language. Studies have shown that they learn to speak earlier. They have less frustrations about being understood, which means less crying. As they grow, they have an increased vocabulary, a greater interest in books, higher IQ, and many believe that they will have greater self-esteem. Sign language will help in the development of your child's vocabulary and can be a huge benefit in the future, as it will allow them to communicate with both hearing and non-hearing individuals.

We all hear about the "terrible twos." But did you know that the stage so many parents dread is mainly caused by the child's frustrations of not being able to communicate their needs and wants? Even if they can't quite communicate their thoughts fully to you, being able to communicate through sign language helps in reducing all those frustrations, which can dramatically decrease the whining, crying, and temper tantrums that come at that age.

If you don't know sign language yourself, there are courses you can take in sign language, not to mention books and videos specially designed to help with teaching sign language to babies and children. Sit down and take some time to learn these as a family. Teaching your baby sign language is an easy, fun and exciting way to begin communicating with your newest member of your family. Make the most of your time with your little one. Sharing, bonding and learning together as a family.

Getting The Best Online College Education

There has always been a lot of debate as to whether an online college education is as good as a traditional college education. The answer to this is quite simple; there are good institutions that offer an online college education and there are bad establishments that offer an online college education. So, you need to do your research in the same way when you are looking for the best place to pursue your online college education with as you would an offline course.

Of course you are not going to particularly bother finding out about the location of the colleges that offer an online college education because it really doesn't matter. However, a lot of the other points that you would consider before attending a college should also be taken into consideration before you enrol with an organisation offering an online college education.

The growth in the numbers of people pursuing an online college education has led to increased competition amongst institutions to attract students. The best way to assess the credibility of a site advertising the best online college education is to ask about the accreditation of its courses. Accreditation means that a governing body for a particular field has endorsed the course and this is extremely important in helping you to decide who to trust with your online college education. If a course is not accredited then you need to find out why.

There may be a number of courses that have not yet received accreditation from an appropriate association or governing body but still offer a good online college education. For example, the establishment may have applied for accreditation but not yet been assessed, in which case you can actually check with the particular body that they are in the process of assessing the application for accreditation. Another reason may be that there is no appropriate body that the course can be accredited to. This is less likely but is, nevertheless, a valid reason and does not indicate that the course offered is not going to be worth taking to advance your online college education.

If, however, you find that the online college education institution has been refused accreditation they are likely to try to tell you that accreditation is not important. This is quite simply untrue. An online college education from a non-accredited institution is not going to be viewed as highly as one from an establishment that is accredited. Choose where you gain your online college education from with care to ensure that you are not wasting your time and money by having an almost worthless qualification.

Download Games For Wii Cheap

Game titles, long the black sheep of the overall Wii set-up has finally come into its own. Between the Wii Fit and Wii Play, they already lead the field of best-selling video games by streets so early into the season. For the record, Mario Kart and Wii Fit, both from the Wii stables were the top two best-sellers respectively in 2008. Taking cue of the shift to console games from those for handheld devices, Games For Wii appear poised for boom town.
With the bulls out in force chomping on the bit for Nintendo Wii games, it seems like the perfect setting for Nintendo to lock down its exploding fan-base through a price revision of the games. After all, the power of price appeal has been proven over and over again, not least by its own Wii console. Its competitive buy-in cost is in no small way a reason for the Wii success story for sure.
The Wii is made for across-the-board gamers. For every man, woman and child, there is a game to play. Skill, thrill, fitness, brains, anything, it caters to all age groups too. Not unlike the television onto which it's wired, the Wii is fast becoming a standard household item. So in order for it to essentially serve its purpose, the price of Wii games must be affordable and acceptable by the entire audience, not just the hard-core section.
Something is out-of-sync about Wii games. The average gamer purchases less than 4 games a year, a far cry from what can be reasonably expected given the current rage of Wii video-gaming. If what's seen or heard in forums is anything to go by, the biggest stumbling block is price, outright! As such, a price takedown for Wii games by Nintendo must be in order as soon as possible lest the Wii customers get all hijacked away.
True to form, independent Wii Download service providers have seized the opportunities big time. They wise up to customer demand and charge less and less as they sell more and more. For a single sign-on fee of less than the price of a disk that Nintendo physically retails at its outlets, subscribers can Download Games for Wii free of charge for a lifetime complete with all necessary software and 24/7 technical support and services. And that's just for starters.
Gamers will find a way to get their fix, one way or another. They also want a real good bang for their buck ala cheap Wii Games For Sale. Nintendo just must slug it out, starting with price. Copyrights infringement lawsuits are have no place in the matter either. These 3rd-party providers do stretch the OB markers but they still toe the legal line. If the heat is too much, people can get out of the kitchen. Trouble is: Nintendo owns the kitchen!

Do you know how to choose the healthiest frozen meals?

When it comes to eating healthy, fresher is almost always better. In some cases, however, it is impossible to cook fresh foods every night. For people on the go, frozen foods can be healthy alternatives to fresh products.

While there is no substitute for a well balanced, fresh cooked meal using plenty of fresh and healthy ingredients, healthy frozen meals can provide a quick and easy alternative for busy people and those who do not have time to cook meals from scratch.

No matter what type of diet you are following, chances are there is a frozen meal available to meet your needs. From low fat to heart healthy to vegetarian meals, there are a great many frozen dinners at the local supermarket or grocery store.

While frozen foods can be very healthy, it is important to keep a close eye out for potentially unhealthy ingredients as you shop. In particular, many frozen and prepared foods have unacceptably high levels of sodium. In addition, many frozen dinners, even those that use the healthiest ingredients, may use preservatives to which some people may be sensitive.

When choosing from among the many brands and varieties of frozen foods on the grocery store shelf, it is important to read the nutritional labels very carefully. These government mandated nutritional labels contain a wealth of information, but it is important to understand how to read them.

Nutritional labels provide information on such imporarnt things as calorie count, number of fat grams and amount of sodium, as well as the percentages of various vitamisn and minerals the food contains.

When examining those nutritional labels, it is important to pay close attention to the portion size. Even a small frozen dinner can be equal to two servings, so if you plan to eat the whole thing yourself, be sure to double the calories, sodium and fat content numbers.

When looking at the amount of fat in a frozen dinner, it is important to follow the widely accepted recommendations to keep the total amount of daily fat to less than 30% of daily calories. Luckily, the new nutritional labels mandated by the government makes this calculation a lot easier. Food manufacturers are required to list the amount of fat their foods contain as a percentage of an average daily diet, so it is easy to tell at a glance if a particular frozen food is a healthy, low fat choice.

In addition to keeping total fat to less than 30% of total calories, it is important to keep saturated fat levels to less than 10% of daily calories. For sodium levels, it is important to limit the amount of sodium to less than 200 milligrams for every 100 calories of food.

In addition, most experts recommend keeping your daily sodium intake to less than 2400 milligrams per day. It is important to read the labels on all frozen foods, even if they are labeled as healthy. While claiming the healthy label obligates food manufacturers to follow certain guidelines, it is still important to review the labels in order to choose the healthiest choices.

When choosing the healthiest meals from among the hundreds of varieties at the average supermarket or grocery store, it is a good idea to choose those that contain at least a half cup of vegetables, fruits or beans. Doing so will help you ensure that the meal you choose is healthy and nutritious.

Finally, since you are in the grocery store already, why not make a stop at the salad bar for a healthy addition to your frozen entrée. Many large grocery store chains have installed wonderful salad bars stocked full of the freshest fruits, vegetables and garnishes, as well as a great selection of low fat and nonfat salad dressings.

How To Make Your Kitchen Energy Efficient

Energy bills go up every month. We used to attribute it to the increasing cost of electricity and heating, but even if we just want to make up for them, we have to save energy whenever we can. Heat loss through inadequately insulated walls is a great problem, but so do all kitchen stuff - while we may not know about it, kitchen appliances are a major factor in our house's energy consumption.

Let's start from preparing the meals. First of all, never use the stove for reheating the leftovers. It sucks wild amounts of energy! Try a microwave oven instead - while the quality of the food suffers a bit, you save up to 40% energy you'd otherwise have to waste on heating the stove. Another tip is about the burners. Never use the big ones unless you have a really large pot. Remember that big burners don't heat anything faster (especially if pots are smaller than the burner), but they use much more energy. Make sure that your pan or pot are sitting flat in the burner as well. Many time the pot/pan bottoms are rounded a bit from wear and usage and do not sit flat on the burner, thus heating up inefficiently and wasting energy.

Fridges and freezers are two other major energy consumers in your kitchen. Make sure that the insulation around their doors is in good condition. If the doors are not sealed properly, the energy consumption skyrockets. You may also play a bit with the freezer's settings. In most cases people set too low temperature - it does not help store food anymore, but it decreases the energy efficiency.

As for other major energy consumers in your kitchen, you may consider replacing the bulbs with the fluorescent models. They provide just as much light as incandescents, and despite their higher individual price, they are much cheaper in the long run. Also, it may be a good idea to reduce the amount of energy used by your dishwasher. The point is that you have to use it only when it is properly loaded. If you overload it, don't be surprised if it uses huge amount of electricity. On the other hand, running it every time you have a few cups to clean will be a waste of energy, too. When you do run it, run it at night when most electric KWH costs are lower than during the day.

One last tip: generally, try to replace your appliances with more energy-efficient models. Look for Energy Star logos - they mean that the appliance is more energy-efficient. Remember that they are responsible to a better part of your electricity usage, so it is something worth fighting for.

Medical Insurance Billing Software

Medical insurance billing software, also called electronic claims software, is now one of the most important elements of a successful medical practice. Medical insurance billing is no longer as time consuming as it once was. Now you have the opportunity to electronically file insurance claims quickly and resolve issues easily. You can spend more time processing the claim and less time in follow-up. This will keep costs down, as insurance processing will now run more efficiently and administrative work will be reduced. You will receive payments more quickly and spend less time on accounts receivable follow-up calls.

Many medical offices utilize the power of the Internet to conduct everyday transactions more efficiently, more accurately, and less expensively than ever before. Some of the functions that can be performed via the Internet include checking eligibility and claims status, receiving referrals and authorizations, and acquiring pre-certifications.

A popular option that many experts recommend is web-based software. All you need is an average computer and a broadband Internet connection. Web-based companies offer many services, such as software support, security, database management and training. Some of the specific services offered for medical insurance billing are the fact that claim files are automatically generated at scheduled times and submitted to the carriers and clearinghouses without user intervention, and automatically downloaded responses that are interpreted and converted into word processing format and claims marked as submitted when the response file is received from the carrier instead of when the biller saves the claim. The web-based option eliminates the burden of maintaining network servers, backup tapes, upgrades or modems. Discover if the software package will fill all the medical insurance needs of your practice by finding providers who are experienced in health care management solutions and issues specific to medical insurance claims.

When searching for the appropriate medical insurance billing software, consider if the software makes the incomprehensible simple. Medical insurance software systems should include a comprehensive selection of features to ensure that you can manage your practice files, claims and billing with maximum ease and efficiency. Some important features to look for are access to the latest forms and guidelines, a step-by-step procedure that will prompt you through the claims process with relative ease, and features that will automatically print the proper forms, documents and bills when complete.

Why waste time on phone calls to insurance companies when medical insurance billing software can provide quick access to claims management. Let your medical insurance billing software interface directly with the carrier and your practice. Medical insurance billing software is just one of the many options now available that make operating a medical practice easier than ever before.

The Evolution of RSS

What is RSS? It is a feed or a web feed that is used to publish frequently updated pages like blogs, news, audio web pages etc. The data format used here is XML. It has been evolving since March 2009. It is in the recent days that it is widely used.
RSS came in three versions. RSS 0.91 was called Rich Site Summary. RSS 0.9 and 1.0 was called RDF Site Summary. RSS 2.0 was called Really Simple Syndication.
As far the evolution goes, there were several attempts before RSS that was not widespread. Meta Content Framework was developed by Ramanathan. V. Guha et al in Apple Computer’s Advanced Technology group, by restructuring information.

The RSS 0.9 version was created by Guha at Netscape in March 1999 to be used in My.Netscape.Com portal. The version RSS 0.91 was created by Dan Libby simplifying the format by removing the RDF elements. IT incorporated News Syndication format by Dave Winer. Dan Libby renamed RSS to “Rich Site Summary”. For eight years, Netscape did not participate in the evolution of RSS as it dropped RSS support to My.Netscape.Com in April 2001. AOL was the new owners of the company and they were restructuring it. There were a couple of entities called the RSS-DEV working group and Winer whose UserLand Software published tools outside Netscape that could read and write RSS. UserLand filed for a trademark registration inside U.S. It failed to satisfy USPTO request of the examiner and hence the proposal was rejected. Guha and the representatives of O’Reilly Media started working on a project called the RSS-DEV working group. It produced RSS 1.0 in December 2000. It took the name RDF site summary and supported RDF and XML name spaces from metadata such as Dublin Corel Winer released RSS0.9 which involved audio to be introduced in the feeds. It sparked on Pod casting. Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0) was released by Winer in September 2002, which was a totally new format. It removed the “type’ attribute and added namespace support/ Meanwhile due to the controversies of creation a new product called Alternative Syndication format (Atom) was formed. It is the proposed RFC 1287 format. RSS 2.0’s copyright specification was given to Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society. Winer, with Brent Simmons and Jon Udel started an RSS advisory board to answer questions bout the format. In December 2005, The Microsoft Internet Explorer and Outlook team adopted the feed icon followed by Opera software. Thus, the commonly used symbol of an Orange box with white Radio waves came in to existence as the industry standard.

Rogers Cadenhead relaunched the RSS Advisory Board without Dave Winer in January 2006.It was done so that the development of RSS format was continued resolving ambiguities. In June 2007, board confirmed that the core elements with name space attributes were to be extended.
